Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with edentulism and severe atrophy in the posterior of mandible The vertical height of the bone above the IAN (Inferior alveolar nerve) should be between 5 and 7 mm The bone thickness of the edentulous area should be at least 5.5 mm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The presence of periodontal disease 2. The presence of systemic or local diseases that may interfere with bone repair, such as diabetes, arthritis, hypothyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, and osteoporosis 3. The use of drugs that prevent surgery, including bisphosphonates 4. Pregnant women 5. Addiction to drugs and smoking 6. Presence of acute infection at the bone graft site 7. Patient undergoing radiotherapy

The change of vertical height of the posterior mandible. Timepoint: Measurement of vertical bone height before surgery and 4 months after surgery. Method of measurement: Cone Beam Computed Tomography radiography by Papaya 3D Plus device and mimics software.
