Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consent of patients to participate in the study Suffering from thalassemia major treated with periodic pac cell transfusion Ferritin level above 500

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Reluctance to continue studying Occurrence of skin complications or other symptoms suggestive of sensitivity to chicory plant extract Viral hepatitis

MeasureTime frame
Iron deposition in the liver. Timepoint: Measurement of Iron deposition in the liver at the beginning of the study (before the start of the intervention), 3 months after consuming chicory. Method of measurement: MRI.
