Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: candidate patients for Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy ASA class I and II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of sore throat symptoms or hoarseness prior to surgery Known allergies to medications used in the study Suffering from chronic respiratory problems (asthma, allergy, respiratory infection in the past month) Suffering from gastric reflux Mallampati score of III or higher Cormack-Lehane grade IV or higher.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Severity of sore throat based on visual analogue scalesystem. Timepoint: measurement of sore throat at the recovery room. Method of measurement: questionnaire visual analogue scale.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Itchy throat. Timepoint: existence of itchy throat at the recovery room. Method of measurement: ask from patient.;Cough. Timepoint: existence of cough at the recovery room. Method of measurement: question from patient.
