Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: have full consent to participate in the research The presence of the disease in them must be confirmed by an ophthalmologist, and the reason for the hospitalization of the patients is the presence of cataracts for cataract surgery. Be familiar with Persian or Turkish language Age range of 50 years and above
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Suffering from severe psychiatric disorders such as psychotic disorders, bipolar mood disorder, panic disorder and not suffering from depression. Taking anti-anxiety and sedative drugs Using all kinds of complementary medicine methods during the previous week Partially deaf History of previous cataract surgery in the other eye Participating in similar educational programs while conducting research

| The level of perceived stress: the level of perceived stress during the past month due to the unpredictable, uncontrollable, and unexpected perception of situations by the person herself. Timepoint: Measurement of perceived stress at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and one hour before cataract surgery (after the educational intervention). Method of measurement: Average stress obtained by standard Cohen questionnaire 10.;Vital signs: There are various statistical and physiological parameters that are controlled and recorded by doctors and nurses and are used to evaluate the most basic functions of the human body. Recording symptoms such as blood pressure, heart rate, and the amount of dissolved oxygen in the blood. Timepoint: Measurement of vital signs at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and the hour before cataract surgery (after the educational intervention). Method of measurement: Measurement of systolic and diastolic pressure-number of beats-percentage of blood oxygen by pulse oximeter and sphygmomanometer.;The selected constructs of the meta-practical model: Lazarus and Folkman's styles of coping with stress show how people face and deal with occupational and personal stress, in other words, the assessment of the type of stress and how to cope with it by the person under study. Timepoint: Measuring the selected structures of the meta-practical model at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and the hour before cataract surgery (after the educational intervention).
