Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 4-14 years Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the past month Participants' consent to participate in the program

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The child has severe comorbid psychiatric disorders that require drug treatment Mental retardation Undergoing treatment of the parent for underlying anxiety-depressive disorder during the study period
