Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 18-65 years diagnosed with PLNP and reporting a pain level of at least 4 on a 10-point visual analog scale (VAS) were eligible for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included pregnancy, current use of anti-inflammatory medications, history of spinal surgery, and contraindications to acupuncture
