| Pain: An unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with, or similar to, tissue damage. Timepoint: From the time patients wake up during mechanical ventilation, which is measured by the BPS scale, and in two times at the beginning of awakening and before extubation , until after being separated from the ventilator, which is measured by the VAS scale. Method of measurement: The measurement of pain during mechanical ventilation is with the BPS scale, which is a number between 3 and 12, based on the lowest pain of 3 and the highest pain of 12. After mechanical ventilation, pain is measured with the VAS scale, which ranges from 0 (no pain) to 10 (worst pain in lifetime).;Atelectasis: It is the collection of a part or all of a lung. This situation causes insufficient absorption of oxygen from the lungs. Timepoint: The last CXR image of the patient in the hospital before discharge (usually 4-5 days after surgery). Method of measurement: According to the doctor's order, CXR images are taken from patients several times after surgery, but our goal is to take the last image of the patient before discharge, so that the presence or absence of atelectasis is checked by a specialist doctor.;Pleural effusion is called excessive accumulation of fluid in the pleural space that surrounds the lungs. Timepoint: The last CXR image of the patient in the hospital before discharge (usually 4-5 days after surgery). Method of measurement: According to the doctor's orders, CXR images are taken from patients several times after surgery, but our goal is to take the last image of the patient before discharge, so that the presence or absence of pleural effusion can be checked by a specialist doctor.;Blood pressure is a measure of the force that your heart uses to pump blood through your arteries. Timepoint: This variable is measured on five occasions as follows: 1- when the patient enters the ICU 2- one hour after closing the sternum support 3- the moment of awakening 4- before extuba | — |
