Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Affliction with knee Osteoarthritis presence of knee joint pain at least for 3 months absence of congenital abnormality between the age of 30–70 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: secondary osteoarthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, gout, infected arthritis, metabolic arthritis and traumatic arthritis) history of joint replacement history of the use of oral or topical analgesic drugs 3 days before enrollment

Knee joint pain score in the WOMAC questionnaire . Timepoint: Knee pain was measured before the start of the intervention and at 15 and 30 days after the initiation of topical Saussurea Lappa oil use.
