Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Creatine Kinase (CK). Timepoint: All creatine kinase (CK) blood samples will be taken before supplementation, after supplementation and immediately after the first, third and fifth repetitions of the specific wrestling protocol. Method of measurement: CK concentrations (at a wavelength of 340 nm) are determined spectrophotometrically using a Pars Azmoun kit (Iran) in an autoanalyzer (BT3000, Italy).;Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH). Timepoint: All lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) blood samples will be taken before supplementation, after supplementation and immediately after the first, third and fifth repetitions of the specific wrestling protocol. Method of measurement: The concentrations of LDH (at a wavelength of 340 nm) are determined enzymatically (Kentik) using a Pars Azmoun kit (Iran) in an autoanalyzer (BT3000, Italy).;Insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1). Timepoint: All IGF-1 blood samples will be taken before supplementation, after supplementation and immediately after the first, third and fifth repetitions of the specific wrestling protocol. Method of measurement: IGF-1 will be determined non-competitively using the Human IGF-1 ELISA Kit Boster (USA) at a wavelength of 450 nm in an ELISA reader Awareness Device (Awareness Technology, Inc. Stat Fax 303 Plus Microstrip Reader, USA).;Cortisol. Timepoint: All Cortisol blood samples will be taken before supplementation, after supplementation and immediately after the first, third and fifth repetitions of the specific wrestling protocol. Method of measurement: Cortisol will be determined competitively using the Human Cortisol ELISA Kit Boster (USA) at a wavelength of 450 nm in ELISA Reader Awareness Device (Awareness Technology, Inc. Stat Fax 303 Plus Microstrip Reader, USA).;Urine Creatinine. Timepoint: Urine creatinine samples will be taken before supplementation, after the supplementation, and immediately after the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth repetitions of the Wrestling Specific Protocol. Method of measure

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Perceived recovery status scale. Timepoint: the PRS scale will be evaluated immediately prior to the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth Wrestling-Specific Protocol. Method of measurement: The Perceived Recovery Status Scale (PRS) is a questionnaire that will be used to assess the level of different recovery periods.
