Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18–65 years Chronic infected wound (diabetic foot ulcer, pressure ulcer, venous leg ulcer, or postoperative infected wound) lasting =4 weeks Wound area 2–20 cm² Ability to provide informed consent Hospitalized or regular outpatient follow-up

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Active sepsis or septic shock Extensive necrosis or osteomyelitis Known allergy to Scrophulariaceae family Systemic corticosteroids or immunosuppressants Pregnancy or lactation Severe liver/kidney disease (Child C ?? eGFR<30) Malignant wound Non-compliant patient

MeasureTime frame
Percentage of wound surface area reduction from baseline to day 14. Timepoint: Day 0 (baseline), Day 7 and Day 14. Method of measurement: Standard photography with a ruler next to the wound (fixed distance of 30 cm, uniform lighting) ? Analysis with ImageJ software by two independent assessors blinded to the patient group; the average of the two final assessments is recorded. Daily camera calibration.
