Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Willingness to participate. Absence of psychiatric disorders (e.g., psychotic disorders, major depression) that could impair cooperation. (26) Ability to communicate in Persian. Presence of fluid restrictions.(26) Absence of oral or dental problems.(27) Cardiologist approval to ensure safety. No sensitivity or allergy to menthol or mint. Non-pregnancy Diagnosis of NYHA Class III or IV heart failure.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of cooperation or withdrawal from the study(26) Sudden clinical deterioration, including emergencies, bleeding, or loss of consciousness(17)
