Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pain in the heel of the foot for at least three months and resistant to initial treatments Consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Uncontrolled diabetes Autoimmune diseases under treatment pes planus ? pes cavus radiculopathy cancer infection foot fracture History of previous surgery for plantar fasciitis Sensitivity to cortisone or needling Pregnancy or breastfeeding Uncontrolled blood pressure Coagulation disorders Intense fear of needling Unwillingness to provide information

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pain. Timepoint: week 0 and 4. Method of measurement: VAS (visual analog score).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Quality of life. Timepoint: week 0 and 4. Method of measurement: SF-36 Questionnaire.;Foot disability. Timepoint: week 0 and 4. Method of measurement: Foot and Ankle Outcome Score Questionnaire.
