Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with irritable bowel syndrome based on ROME-IV criteria People with a diploma or higher education

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Family history of colon cancer bloody stool History of severe psychiatric illness History of drug and alcohol dependence in the last 2 years History of neurological diseases

Severity of symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. Timepoint: Before the start of psychotherapy, after the end of the last psychotherapy session and one month after the last session for follow-up. Method of measurement: Irritable bowel scoring system questionnaire.;Severity of anxiety and depression. Timepoint: Before the start of psychotherapy, after the end of the last psychotherapy session and one month after the last session for follow-up. Method of measurement: Hospital anxiety and depression scale.;Abdominal and intestinal symptom anxiety. Timepoint: Before the start of psychotherapy, after the end of the last psychotherapy session and one month after the last session for follow-up. Method of measurement: The Visceral Sensitivity Index.;Quality of life.
