Intervention 1: Intervention group1: Administration of isoflurane 1.2-1.6 mcg/kg. Intervention 2: Intervention group2:Administration of sevoflurane 1.5 mcg/kg.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age range 18-65 years American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Group II/III Patient satisfaction

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Baseline mean arterial blood pressure less than 60 mm Hg Cardiovascular or peripheral vascular disease (such as diabetic vasculopathy or Raynaud's disease) Taking medications that may affect sympathetic or parasympathetic tone (such as beta blockers or anticholinergic) Having any neurological or psychiatric illness, including a history of substance abuse, anxiety or depression

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Mean arterial blood pressure. Timepoint: Invasive blood pressure will be measured continuously during surgery. Non-invasive blood pressure will be measured at 5-minute intervals. Method of measurement: Arterial line insertion for invasive measurement and manometer cuff for non-invasive measurement.
