Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Iranian nationality Willingness to participate in the study Age range: 18-45 years No medical restrictions for performing pregnancy exercises, as confirmed by a gynecologist Literacy ability to read and write Gestational age: 20 to 28 weeks No medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, mental disorders or cardiovascular/respiratory diseases) No high-risk pregnancy conditions (e.g., bleeding in the current pregnancy, placenta previa, cervical cerclage, multiple pregnancies or pregnancies achieved through assisted reproductive techniques) No substance addiction

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Significant comorbidities (e.g., uncontrolled cardiovascular/metabolic diseases) History of adverse obstetric outcomes (e.g., preterm delivery, recurrent pregnancy loss, or active antenatal bleeding) Medical contraindications to physical activity per specialist evaluation (e.g., placenta previa, cervical insufficiency, or high-risk preterm labor) Current regular structured exercise programs (>2 sessions/week) Use of medications affecting exercise capacity (e.g., beta-blockers, corticosteroids) Non-compliance (refusal to sign informed consent or protocol deviation) Substance use disorder (active illicit drug/alcohol abuse)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Mean score of pregnant women's exercise self-efficacy. Timepoint: Before the intervention, immediately after the intervention, and at 1- and 2-week follow-ups. Method of measurement: Pregnant Women's Exercise Self-Efficacy Questionnaire.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of low back and pelvic pain. Timepoint: Before the intervention, immediately after the intervention, and at 1- and 2-week follow-ups. Method of measurement: visual analog scale.
