Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A single injured flexor tendon Tendon injury due to sharp cut No nerve damage Complete tendon rupture Tendon injury in Zone II Absence of simultaneous extensor tendon injury Absence of simultaneous multiple tendon injuries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Partial tendon tear simultaneous multiple tendon injuries

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Post-operative range of motion. Timepoint: Three months post-surgery. Method of measurement: Measurement of the range of motion will be done with a goniometer, and the angle will be measured by the physician in the form of total active motion (TAM). The value will be compared to the healthy finger's motion and recorded in both degrees and percentage.;Determining the extent of tendon adhesion to surrounding tissues. Timepoint: Three months post-surgery. Method of measurement: physical exam.;Tendon rupture after repair. Timepoint: Three months post-surgery. Method of measurement: physical exam.
