Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Dumping criterion, splenic artery intraparenchymal blood flow resistance index, superior mesenteric artery pulsation index and renal interlobar artery resistance index in Doppler sonography, Esophageal varice grade in endoscopy, Number of variceal bleeding episodes. Timepoint: Before intervention and 6 months after intervention. Method of measurement: Damping index and vascular resistance are measured by doppler sonographic device. Varicose grade is evaluated by endoscopy and bleeding frequency is evaluated by questionnaire.
