Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with alopecia areata and symmetrical, limited patches on the scalp and face

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with extended patches who are candidate for systemic therapy Patients who can not tolerate low temperature Active secondary infection Patients who are unwilling to follow protocols Patients with systemic underlying diseases such as thyroid disorders, vitiligo,diabetes,psoriasis and autoimmune disorders

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Responses to treatment will be evaluated by a clinical questionnaire. Timepoint: Month 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Method of measurement: Descriptive clinical questionnaire.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Patient's satisfaction questionnaire. Timepoint: Month 5. Method of measurement: Very satisfied, satisfied, medium satisfied, dissatisfied, very dissatisfied.
