Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Over 60 years old free of chronic mental illness no history of drug addiction and abuse elderly people who have been diagnosed with diabetes for at least 2 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participation in a similar educational program that is concurrent with the implementation of the intervention The patient's unwillingness to participate in the research Patients with physical or mental disabilities

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The score of adherence to medication regimen in Moriski's medication regimen adherence questionnaire. Timepoint: Measurement of adherence to the medication regimen before the intervention and four weeks after the last training session. Method of measurement: Moriski's 8-item medication adherence questionnaire.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Self-efficacy score in DMSES diabetes self-efficacy questionnaire. Timepoint: Measuring self-efficacy before the intervention and four weeks after the last training session. Method of measurement: 19-question diabetes self-efficacy questionnaire DMSES 19.
