Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Having a tracheal tube in the mouth Hospitalization in ICU less than 24 hours Not being admitted to other hospital departments before being admitted to the ICU No history of autoimmune disorders, pneumonia or sepsis Absence of pregnancy No known allergy to herbal ingredients Not having artificial teeth and obvious oral or cavity lesions Not smoking

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Transfer to other ICU centers Severe oral lesions Lack of consent of the patient's legal guardian Death of the patient

MeasureTime frame
Reducing gum inflammation and dental plaque as a result of using Katira mouthwash. Timepoint: Before the intervention, the gingival index was measured and recorded in both groups. At the end of the study (third day) and 2 hours after the last use of mouthwash, the gingival index will be measured again by the dentist in this field. Method of measurement: The gingival inflammation index will be used to examine the gums.
