Intervention group: The current study is a quasi-experimental clinical study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study protocol has been previously published in detail (Hosseini et al. 2016)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of breast cancer Proficiency in Persian language High school diploma or higher education level

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and serious suicidal ideation confirmed by a clinical interview, conducted by a psychiatrist according to DSM-5 History of any physical condition that prevents patients from participating. A history of participating in therapy sessions, a history of participating in RCBT, CBT, or any other type of psychotherapy program.
