40 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Knee pain for at least 3 months Pain on most days of the past month Crepitation in active knee movement Morning stiffness less than 30 minutes independent walking and daily activities Lack of joint warmth Knee pain and primary osteoarthritis diagnosis according to Kellogg-Lawrence radiological criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Osteoarthritis secondary to rheumatological diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout Traumatic arthritis , history of ligament and meniscus injury or sudden pain and joint swelling History of knee fracture or any knee surgery in the last 6 months. Any deformity or abnormalities in the lower limbs neurologic deficit osteoporosis knee lucking or hypermobility and instability History of knee malignancy Metabolic and endocrine disorders such as diabetes and uncontrolled thyroid diseases Health problems affecting home workouts such as uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart disorder, brain disorder, dyspnea, arrhythmia, severe vision problems; severe kidney disease severe obesity and BMI above 35 Corticosteroid injections within the past 30 days or oral corticosteroid within the past 2 weeks Hyaluronic acid injection within the past 6 months knee skin disease septic arthritis pregnancy

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pain intensity. Timepoint: Upon arrival, at the end of each session, after the first month of follow-up from the end of the sessions. Method of measurement: VAS, Visual analog Scale.;Knee function. Timepoint: Upon arrival and completion of 8 sessions, one month after the last session for follow-up. Method of measurement: Time to go up test.

Any side effects of the intervention. Timepoint: End of study. Method of measurement: Questioning the patient.;Quality of life. Timepoint: Upon arrival and completion of 8 sessions, one month after the last. Method of measurement: Standard KOOS questionnaire.
