| Papillary bleeding index. Timepoint: In the first session and two weeks after using mouthwash (or probiotics or distilled water). Method of measurement: Place the periodontal probe 1 mm deep in the distal sulcus of the most posterior tooth in each quadrant on the buccal surface, then slowly move the probe along the sulcus from distal to mesial interproximal. Continue this for all teeth in the quadrant from the facial side, wait 30 seconds, and record the presence of bleeding on the distal, mesial, and facial surfaces on the chart. Repeat this on the lingual/palatal side and record the bleeding for the lingual surface. This will give you 4 separate numbers for each tooth. After recording all teeth, divide the number of bleeding surfaces by the total number of surfaces to get a percentage.;Plaque index. Timepoint: In the first session and two weeks after using mouthwash (or probiotics or distilled water). Method of measurement: The plaque index is a purely visual and subjective selection. Tablets and detector solutions are used to measure this index. We ask the patient to chew the tablet until it dissolves in saliva and spread it over the entire tooth surface with their tongue, remove the excess from the mouth and wait a while. If the detector is soluble, we use a small cotton swab dipped in the solution to apply it locally on the teeth. After a while, the areas with plaque will turn color. For each tooth, 4 levels are considered and the amount of color change of the spots relative to the entire tooth is calculated as a percentage.;Clinical attachment loss. Timepoint: In the first session and two weeks after using mouthwash (or probiotics or distilled water). Method of measurement: It is measured in millimeters with a periodontal probe, indicating the extent of periodontal support lost around the tooth.;Pocket depth. Timepoint: In the first session and two weeks after using mouthwash (or probiotics or distilled water). Method of measurement: It is measured using a gra | — |
