Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Confirmed alcohol use disorder based on DSM-5 criteria Drinking at least 5 standard units for men and 4 standard units for women at least 4 days a week in the last 28 days (every 14 grams of pure alcohol in any other halal amount is called one standard drinking unit) Informed consent to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Reported history of previous allergy to pregabalin by the participant Pregnancy Breastfeeding Patients with renal disease Reported mental disorders by the participant that has been diagnosed by a doctor or psychologist at present or in the past Use of opioids, Cough medicine, marijuana, anti-anxiety medications, muscle relaxants, and antihistamines
