Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients of both genders with acute ischemic stroke (mild to moderate (15-1) or severe (<15) according to the NIHSS criteria must be determined) Acute stroke patients hospitalized during the last 3 hours
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Making the patient hyperactive in response to memantine or any other drug The presence of acute or chronic kidney failure History of liver disease History of heart disease and severe myocardial infarction in the last 48 hours The presence of autoimmune diseases in the patient The presence of Alzheimer's disease or any dementia History of taking memantine in the last 6 months The patient's stroke is hemorrhagic Pregnancy and breastfeeding History of seizures
