25 Years to 55 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 25-55 years of age with hypothyroidism (complete or subclinical) Consuming levothyroxine BMI less than 35 More than 1 year history of hypothyroidism Willingness to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy or breastfeeding History of taking probiotic or synbiotic supplements in the last three months Smoking or alcohol consumption Taking appetite suppressants such as antibiotics Use of antibiotics and any medications that interact with synbiotics Gastrointestinal diseases such as stomach ulcers, diarrhea or constipation etc.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Determination and comparison of mean serum levels of TSH and FT4 hormones between the synbiotic and placebo groups. Timepoint: before and at the end of the intervention. Method of measurement: ELISA kit.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Determination and comparison of mean systolic and diastolic blood pressure between the synbiotic and placebo groups. Timepoint: before and at the end of the intervention. Method of measurement: Measurement with digital barometer.;Determining and comparing the mean score of the Depression Inventory between the synbiotic and placebo groups. Timepoint: Before and at the end of the intervention. Method of measurement: Beck questionnaire.;Determining and comparing the mean score of the Quality of Life Questionnaire and its subscales between the synbiotic and placebo groups. Timepoint: before and at the end of the intervention. Method of measurement: SF-36 questionnaire.
