Inclusion criteria: Ages 40 to 80 years American society of anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II Undergoing deep vitrectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cardiac arrest during surgery Any complications that required an alteration in anesthesia methods
