Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All people with dental caries confirmed by a dentist Age between 12 and 50 years Not taking antibiotics in the three days before the intervention any history of allergy to herbal compounds non-smokers

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: People with a history of allergy to herbal products People who have taken antibiotics less than a month before sampling Smokers

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Salivary Streptococcus mutans counts. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study and 7 days after using Alfalfa herbal extract and Chlorhexidine mouthwash. Method of measurement: Dilution of the saliva sample and culturing in TYCSB Agar medium with a standard loop and counting the bacterial colonies and multiplying by the dilution factor to obtain the number of colonies in one milliliter of saliva (CFU/ml).;The plaque index score for the patient. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study and 7 days after using Alfalfa herbal extract and Chlorhexidine mouthwash. Method of measurement: Each patient is examined by a dentist, and the plaque index score is determined from 0-3 for the patient according to the Silness-Löe plaque index system.
