Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age between 18 and 65 years old intubation due to trauma intubation atleast for 24 hours and during past 2 weeks ongoing need for intubation
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Failure to continue treatment for any reason, including the reluctance of the patient or the patient's caretaker drug intolerance tracheomalacia or any other airway disease obesity hypoventilation syndrome or any other lung disease inhaled or systemic corticosteroids usage in previous month need for systemic corticosteroid administration in current addmision hemodynamic instability smoking 25 cigarettes per day or more
