Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients who age more than 20 patients with ASA class I , II The patients should have a negative history of using Clonidine, psychotropic drugs, and beta-blockers Negative history of gastrointestinal disorders normal levels of serum creatinine All patients who will be candidates for Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) or rhinoplasty

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have a history of cardiovascular disorders will be excluded from the study. Patients who have a history of coagulation disorders will be excluded from the study. Patients who have a surgical duration exceeding 240 minutes will be excluded from the study.

MeasureTime frame
The effect of Clonidine on PR interval. Timepoint: The Clonidine will be administered 30 minutes before surgery. Six hours after the operation, a 12-lead ECG will be obtained from each patient and compared with the previously obtained ECG. Method of measurement: By utilizing the formulas from Fridericia and Framingham in the Electrocardiographic assessment of patients.
