Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: Twice-daily use of a standard broad-spectrum sunscreen product with high UVA and UVB protection, in an adequate amount (2 mg/cm² or two fingers for the entire face)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Iranian women aged 30–60 years Skin phototypes II–IV General health Having consent to participate in the study and willingness to attend follow-up visits regularly

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any type of skin disease Recent facial skin treatments such as bleaching Having or requiring treatment for a chronic disease Daily exposure to sunlight for less than 30 minutes Allergy to the sunscreen product formulation Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Change in facial aging assessment scores after six months. Timepoint: Before the intervention, 3 and six months after the start of the intervention. Method of measurement: Flament Grading.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Degree of horizontal forehead wrinkles. Timepoint: Before the intervention, 3 and six months after the start of the intervention. Method of measurement: Visioface.;Stratum corneum moisture. Timepoint: Before the intervention, 3 and six months after the start of the intervention. Method of measurement: MPA device.
