Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient with stroke diagnosed by a physician Patient care at home by family caregivers Appropriate cognitive status of the patient to answer MMSE= 22 and mini-cog= 4 The patient does not have other chronic diseases such as advanced stages of malignancies, Autoimmune diseases of the nervous system Home care by family caregivers for at least one year Family caregivers care for the patient for at least 6 hours a day Minimum age 18 years for family caregivers Patients and caregivers ability to understand Persian language Family caregiver is not a member of the treatment staff

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of active participation of the family caregiver in more than two sessions Development of complications due to the disease that leads to hospitalization of the patient during the study Get help from a nurse to care for the patient at home during the study
