Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: Newborns with jaundice (n = 65) are given Anti Ectera drops (made by Shahid Beheshti School of Pharmacy) every 8 hours at a dose of 3 drops for a week. Intervention

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Parent’s consent to participate in the study newborns with physiologic jaundice and need phototherapy treatment Apgar score>7 No congenital & physical abnormalities

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any complications during the study Incidence of G6PD in neonate Incidence of infection in neonate
