Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age over 65 years Have a diagnosis of major depression based on a psychiatrist's opinion according to DSM-5 criteria Have a score of at least 5 (mild depression) on the Elderly Depression Scale (GDS) Taking sertraline at the first visit of the patient as prescribed by a psychiatrist and at the same time with the start of ericulotherapy intervention Do not take other medications or other psychological treatments such as psychological counseling and psychotherapy Satisfaction to participate in the study No cognitive disorders No drug addiction No need to hospitalize the patient due to the severity of depressive symptoms Absence of psychotic symptoms in the patient Absence of other psychiatric disorders (other than major depression in the individual) The patient has favorable physical and mental conditions to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Unwillingness to continue participating in the study Non-observance of the intended criterion in relation to the average number of pressures and duration of each time of pressure on plant seeds during each week of intervention Allergy to glue (allergies, redness, etc.) or any intolerance Occurrence of physical or mental problems during the intervention such as old age crises (death of spouse or child, etc.) Receiving other medications or other psychological therapies such as psychological counseling while studying The need to hospitalize the patient for any reason, during the intervention
