Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children 4-6 years old Children hospitalized in internal wards who have orders for intravenous catheter placement or conditions requiring intravenous catheter replacement Children who have had a peripheral venous catheter inserted within the previous two weeks.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with neurocognitive disorders, including children diagnosed with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, phenylketonuria, attention deficit disorder, etc. Children with a Glasgow Coma Scale score lower than 15 Children for whom catheter placement was not successful the first time.
