Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are candidates for open-heart surgery Patients who are not receiving any type of statin medications before the open-heart surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are susceptible to infection such as those with immunodeficiencies patients with signs of infection before the surgery

MeasureTime frame
Surgical site infection. Timepoint: 10 days after heart surgery. Method of measurement: Observation and if signs of infection were observed culture from the site of infection.
