Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: permanent dentition no dental caries in both arches

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: history of orthodontic treatment history of analgesic and bisphosphonate medications in the last week space in the mesial and distal contact area between maxillary first and second maxillary and second maxillary premolars

MeasureTime frame
Chewing and spontaneous pain. Timepoint: Measuring pain at the beginning of the study (immediately after placing the elastomeric separators), 6 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours and 96 hours after placing the elastomeric separators. Method of measurement: Visual Analogue Scale(numeric).
