Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Endometriosis patients Age between 20-35 years Candidate for Unilateral surgical excision of endometrioma> 5>cm Informed consented for participation in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Receiving hormonal medication to treat endometriosis in the three months prior to study enrollment History of previous laparotomy Suffering from any serious underlying disease such as uncontrolled diabetes, hemorrhagic diseases, autoimmune diseases, malignancy or suspicion thereof, endocrine diseases that disrupt ovarian function,... History of sever allergy

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in the number of ovarian antral follicles. Timepoint: Three and six months after the intervention. Method of measurement: Trans-vaginal Ultrasonography.;The amount of change in serum levels of anti-Mullerian hormone. Timepoint: Six months after the intervention. Method of measurement: Laboratory evaluation of serum levels using electrochemiluminescence method.

MeasureTime frame
Lenght of surgical operation. Timepoint: At the day of interverntion. Method of measurement: Duration of surgery based on the description of the procedure in minutes.;Hemoglobin Changes. Timepoint: 24 hours after the intervention. Method of measurement: Blood hemoglobin measurement.;Ovarian Endometrioma Recurrence. Timepoint: Three and six months after the intervention. Method of measurement: Trans-vaginal Ultrasonography.
