Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1-Completion of the consent form by the patient or his/her guardian. 2. over 18 years old 3- Patient is a candidate for cardiac surgery including (CABG, valve replacement or combination of CABG and valve replacement)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy active infection ( positive culture sample) Organ transplant patients Patients with a history of vancomycin sensitivity
