Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children under 15 with abscess epilepsy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with malignancies, cardiovascular disorders, kidney, metabolic, drug allergies, and those who have not taken the drug regularly.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Seizure frequency (Number of seizures per week). Timepoint: Initiation of the study, 4 months after the intervention. Method of measurement: Counting the number of seizures per week and recording in a questionnaire.;Serum levels of Lamotrigine. Timepoint: Study end (4 months after the intervention). Method of measurement: High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).;Serum levels of Ethosuximide. Timepoint: Study end (4 months after the intervention). Method of measurement: High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
