Pre-hypertension. Essential (primary) hypertension

Interventions

Intervention 1: Control group:The placebo made by Dr. Zarghani's Pearl Farm Company is given orally 3 gr (each gr = 1 ml) twice a day for two weeks.The placebo is composed of water and edible colors
produced by Dr. Zarghani's Pearl Farm Company. Linalool, Nerol, Flavonoid, Monotripine are its ingredients.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age over 60 years Blood pressure between 120/80-139/89

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Allergy to lavender Opium Addiction Diabetes and CKD Taking blood pressure medications Taking herbal blood pressure lowering remedies Patients with severe liver failure

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Blood pressure. Timepoint: Before intervention, one week after starting medication, two weeks after starting medication and one week after discontinuation. Method of measurement: Aneroid Sphygmomanometer.
