Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Gastric residual volume. Timepoint: Laundry will be done every three hours before each gavage, except for the 3am gavage. Method of measurement: Using a standard 60 ml syringe, the volume of remaining gastric juice will be measured in milliliters before each gavage.;Aspiration. Timepoint: First day, third, fifth day. Method of measurement: Aspiration will be diagnosed using a positive glucose oxidase strip and a pH strip. The exudates were tested for glucose and glucose oxidase band at day 1, day 3 and day 5 and pulmonary aspiration was confirmed if positive reaction was present in both testes.
