Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: Prescription of 100 mg tablets of Sitagliptin manufactured by Dr. Abidi Pharmaceutical Company with daily use of 1 tablet for 12 weeks and measurement of body mass

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of schizophrenia based on DSM-5 criteria and clinical interview treating with olanzapine

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diagnosis of other mental disorders Major medical problems(cardiovascular,pulmonary,gasterointestinal,renal) Substance use Pregnancy Premorbid or comorbid metabolic abnormalities(obesity,diabetes,hypertension,hyperlipidemia)
