Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients with biopsy-proven squamous cell carcinoma of hypopharynx, nasopharynx, and larynx

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All patients with distant metastasis Hypersensitivity to metformin
