| Score obtained from the Tobert and Glasgow self-care questionnaire. Timepoint: Before the study and one month later. Method of measurement: The questionnaire is a new version of 15 questions that addresses five aspects (diet, exercise, blood glucose testing, foot care, and smoking) over a seven-day period. Questionnaire questions include a five-question diet, a two-question exercise, a two-question glycemic control, a five-question foot care, and regular use of a single question. The tool is scored on a seven-point Likert scale. Responses range from zero (seven days of no self-care activities) to seven (seven days of self-care activities). Another question is about smoking with scores of 1 and 0. A score of 1 will be awarded if you do not smoke 0. A total compliance score is obtained by adding the scores for each question to a total score of 0 to 99. | — |
