Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults 18 to 65 years of age with a diagnosis of scalp psoriasis. Mild to moderate scalp psoriasis severity (determined by a standard scoring system)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe psoriasis (i.e. involving >10% of the body surface area). Use of other topical or systemic treatments in the past 4 weeks. Known hypersensitivity or contraindications to any of the components of the formulation, including Betamethasone or Coltarabine. The presence of other skin conditions that may interfere with the evaluation of scalp psoriasis. Pregnant and lactating women.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reducing the severity of scalp psoriasis symptoms. Timepoint: At the end of week 12, the reduction in symptom severity is measured. Method of measurement: Scalp psoriasis area and severity index.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Relief of patient-reported symptoms including itching, scaling, and redness. Timepoint: The rate of symptom recurrence is measured at weeks 4, 8, and 12. Method of measurement: Visual analog scale and dermatology quality of life index.
