Interventions

Intervention 1: Group (A) Ephedrine + Distilled Water: In this group, 0.5 mg/kg ephedrine (Biotika Pharmaceutical Company, Hungary) along with 1 cc of distilled water will be injected intramuscularly

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are candidates for laparoscopic gallbladder surgery All patients should be under general anesthesia. Age 18-65 years Surgery performed by a surgeon Surgery duration: 60 to 150 minutes Consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of kidney, liver, and cardiovascular disease A history of high blood pressure, diabetes, malignancy, and blood and vascular problems History of mental and psychotic illnesses Presence of Parkinson's disease, movement disorders, or history of chemotherapy Known sensitivity to the study drugs and absence of seasonal allergies

Nausea and vomiting score. Timepoint: In recovery, 2, 4, 6, 12, 24 hours after surgery. Method of measurement: Nausea and vomiting scale.;Severity of nausea and vomiting. Timepoint: In recovery, 2, 4, 6, 12, 24 hours after surgery. Method of measurement: Visual analog scale.;The need for anti-nausea medication. Timepoint: After surgery. Method of measurement: The dose of metoclopramide required by patients 24 hours after surgery.
