Intervention 1: In the present randomized clinical trial, an intervention group of 32 patients received a loading dose of 200 mg of CoQ10 (Brest Health, USA) two days before the chemotherapy procedure

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age above 18 years, AML confirmation by hematologist using Wright-Giemsa staining, Sudan Black, subtype confirmation by flow cytometry test, having chemotherapy conditions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Receiving any antioxidant supplements within three months before the start of chemotherapy, malignancies other than AML, cases of previous disease or infection, autoimmune disease, cancer, AIDS, receiving any previous chemotherapy
