Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Singleton pregnancy Term pregnancy vertex presentation with anterior occiput position Residence of Ahvaz Persian language Maternal age between 20 - 30 year

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Dystocia Excessive manipulation of vagina during labour Maternal systemic disease Smoking Third and fourth degree perineal tears

MeasureTime frame
Perineal pain. Timepoint: 1, 7,14 days after childbirth. Method of measurement: VAS Criteria (Visual Analogue Scale).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Healing of Episiotomy site. Timepoint: 1,7 and 14 days after childbirth. Method of measurement: REEDA Scale.
