19 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Any patients with primary or recurrent pterygium; either unilaterally or bilaterally, who was diagnosed by an ophthalmologist

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Use of any topical ophthalmic drug in previous six months Patients with allergy to interferon alpha-2b Patients with History of Refractive Surgery History of any eye diseases other than refractive errors and pterygium Pregnant or lactating women

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pterygium grade. Timepoint: 1- Baseline (before injection) 2- 1st month 2- 2nd month 3- 6th month. Method of measurement: Based on the degree of visibility of the epithelial vessels by an ophthalmologist.
